Andy Paterson
I provide Padel coaching for groups, corporate events, individuals and pairs looking to have fun and/or take their game to the next level. I will pass on my vast experience and successes in sport to help players whether you want to compete or simply play for fun. I coach in Brighton and Hove and primarily at Hove Beach Park courts right by the seafront. It’s a fantastic venue to learn and train and play. I have completed the PadelMBA coaching qualification and previously coached for years at Tennis, Football and Beach volleyball. I have been highly successful in the tournaments I have competed in and am already transferring over the technique and tactics needed to be successful.

Group Lessons coaching in Brighton: common questions
How many people are in a group padel lesson?
Most group lessons have 3-4 players, which allows for proper doubles play on court. Some coaches run larger clinics (6-8 players) with rotation, which are more drill-focused. Smaller groups mean more individual attention.
Are group lessons good for complete beginners?
Absolutely. Many coaches run beginner-specific group lessons where everyone starts from scratch. It's actually one of the best ways to learn — you see others making similar mistakes, you play real points sooner, and it's more fun.
How much cheaper are group lessons than private?
Group lessons typically cost EUR 15-30 per person per session, compared to EUR 30-60+ for a private lesson. That's 30-50% cheaper while still getting quality coaching. Many players do a mix of both — group for match practice, private for technique work.
